I used fine sand and the gluemasters thin glue. Easy, quick and got some cool designs.

Now, I will say the glue area will get hot for a bit. Use thicker gloves. On my live rock joint I sort of ditched the gloves and dropped some glue on my finger. No, not on purpose. Felt like a quick burn from oven, but the glue dried and peeled off easy. No harm done, just do not recommend no gloves.

White is the dry stuff added to tank.

I did the same thing. Squeezed a bit too much glue out of the bottle then all of a sudden like a piercing sensation on my finger. Had a welt after the glue came off. haha.

Like a few others in this post, I purchased the Glue Masters Thin glue from messaging them here. I had large pieces of marco rock that i broke down. The smaller bits i pounded out to make a fine sand out.

The most difficult part was figuring out how I wanted to shape everything. The beauty is you can just break it and put it back together.
