Hi guys! I'm aquascaping a 180 gallon tank, but I'm using rock that I had in my 75 and 120. I'd like to make some nice formations, but I'm concerned about trying to epoxy rock together that I can't let dry out first (bc there are zoa colonies and such on it). Can I epoxy wet rock and will the epoxy cure under water? I've actually never used epoxy before.

yep, just make sure its aquarium safe. I usually use JB water weld epoxy with loc-tite supertglue gel precision control. The combination of these two works wonders for holding things in place. If the rock is large though youll want to drill it out and put acrylic rods in it for stability otherwise its likely to come apart over time and mess up your structure. Depending on its size / weight that is.

He's you can, here is an old thread I posted on another board when I had my Fluval Edge 12 gal nano. In other words, you can build any scape you want with epoxy and superglue gel. Most if not all epoxy a are safe as I've used most of them. The one I have on the thread is the best IMo, since it holds best and doesn't make the skimmers act too much out of wack. Also, it is way cheaper than the reef ones marketed for much more $ out there.
Selling 2x 8w Skyye Clamp on LEDS. Great for smaller tanks - Manhattan Reefs

Thanks for the responses! I'll get to work soon, and I'll try and start a build thread to keep you guys informed as to how it goes. I've been following lots of the aquascaping threads and watching the BRS videos.

I just bought the JB WaterWeld (couldn't find the other epoxy that was recommended). I'm hoping I got enough. I bought one tube, and I'm setting up a 180. The rocks are pretty large, so I'll see how far this stuff goes.
