Would like some suggestions for aquascaping... This is what I got now... I would like to add another rock shelfand get more height on the back side of this LR but not sure the best approach....
Also want to leave spots for coral...
I also found some good Fiji rock, it is more whitish , do you think mixing the two types of LR looks good?
And advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
BD

10 gallon? Looks pretty good. The white rock will color up with time.
20 gallon just cycled ..Just wanted to make sure mixing the rocks would look good before I Purchase... Haven't found many photos online with red and white rock mixed...
I want to make sure I leave room for corals down the road.. can you attach some corals on semi steep LR and it look right?
Should corals stay below your 25% water change level?
Anymore advice for aquascaping ?
I want more height on left side.. and I would hate to have to breakdown what I got. Would I have to take out LR I have to secure new LR to it.. Or can I do this in the Tank?
TY,
BD

In time coraline algae will grow on the rocks and they should look pretty similar in color.

I like it the way you have it. Remember, corals on the top of those rocks on the left will add height as they mature...too high initially with rock and the corals may not do well there!

Also... welcome to MTRC...

Appreciate it! Excited to be here... just trying to get Tank set before I add anymore fish/livestock ... Will corals grow well on the steep part on front of the LR or do I need to make a flatter shelf?

I think you will be fine with the current setup. You have several small out croppings that could hold a coral on this faces. I think shelves are probably nice to have, but they don't always look natural until they are completely covered... just my opinion. Plus, it will be a work in progress with changes to rocks, etc... rocks as you go!
