if you can design a zoas dominated reef, what aquascaping style would you use? and why?

Thanks...

i would do a trench style with a channel running through middle.. lined with paly/zoas front to back along each side the channel... :) that what i want to do anywayz

I think a nice L around the back/right or back/left of the tank with an island or pillar opposite of it. I would keep all my sps on the pillar and the zoa's and softies on the L shaped rock formation. Just a thought. :)

i would do two island connected by branch rock and on that connecting branch rock would be all zoas and lead down to the islands. I the middle of the two islands i would do a nice sized clam or someother big show peice

Marv, how big is this tank going to be and how much live rock u fixing on useing? i think that will help people out for ideas as well

it's interesting to read all the post.. but I think we need some pics.. LoLz..

my ideas are 2 islands or cave or 1 big island... I'm struggling if I should use the side glass or keep them clean of LR..

i would probably keep them clean of the LR, IMO its just going to be really tough to clean the tank if they are all on the sides, i love the 2 island idea, im doing that in my 75. I think you dont need the glass if you use expoxy, find a stack u like b4 adding water then just expoxy the rock

what do u mean by zoa bottom mar, like basically instead of sand fill the bottom up with zoas? if so that would look sweet and that would def have my vote!

its a terrible pic... but gives u an idea on my aquascape.

it is zoanthid/SPS dominated.

BB's are cool i'm just too clumsy i like the forgiving sand not the shattering glass when i drop things
