So i have had my tank up and running for about two week now and noticed that with my rocks against the back glass it has been a black hole for detrius and other particles of junk to collect as there is no flow. I purchased the tank from someone who used it just with coral so the rock was cut flat on the bottom so it wasn't as big of a deal, but I have since added fish. I was hoping to get some advice on the best way to arrange these rocks that I have as I can't seem to figure out a good position for them?

I too am stuck with the "wall" build, but it's a 90dt with about 150# rock and glued and encrusted corals, so a change is out of the question for me. Too much work for now. Lol. But, the way I had them to start I wish I'd have stuck with. Here's a pic or two of what I used to have when first started.

And what I've got now:

You could try some separation between some of the rocks. Do 2 or 3 formations but each with a different height. Move some towards the front. Start with one main rock and try to add a cave or two. You want a lot of spaces fish can hide when stressed or sleeping. I have about 16 fish including cleaner shrimps and crabs and there are times, especially if I'm cleaning inside the tank, that I don't see any of them. A good place to look for ideas is https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/tips-and-tricks-on-creating-amazing-aquascapes.97209/ These are from other members and there are some beautiful aquascapes.

This is mine right now. There are a few small changes I might make in future but for the most part I'm happy with it.
