I see all the beautiful reef pictures on here, with all the live rock stacked in different ways. How is it done? How do you keep all the pieces from coming apart? Or do people just get lucky and find cool big pieces?

If you get good craggy irregular shaped pieces (no baseballs) and you are very patient and careful you can stack them such that they are stable enough for the structure to stand on its own for many years. I find that this also yields the most natural looking structures as well. You can make the joints between pieces almost seamless if you are good. It is however an art and doing even a small tank this way and doing it well takes hours.

JB Water Weld is used in some tanks. I use a combo of rods and careful stacking.
