Aquascaping tricks

I was doing this the other day. I use those disposable chopsticks to brace/prop up colonies that I have glued to a rock face to allow the superglue/epoxy/superglue sandwich to harden in time to support the colony.

I thought it was crafty and was curious what others have come up with to help aquascape the tank?

Clever idea...now I can stop gluing my fingers to the rock work!!!
