I love it. Just hope you will be putting sand in, I hate the look of bare bottom haha

Ok so my fifth attempt, bit of tweaking and decided to leave it be and put down my sand. I only hope my rock forgives me and doesn't die. This has to be the toughest challenge of all time!
Now most of my rockwork isn't very secure so am intending to reenforce with putty - is that the way to go? Thanks so much for all of your comments and advice [emoji4]
Rock scaping is OCD for sure lol!

Looks good!
You could drill and insert driveway acrylic rods two pair your pieces together!Rock scaping is OCD for sure lol!
After I tried this I will always do it this way. It's pretty sweet! I use a piece of acrylic about the dimension of the bottom of tank and build off that; all rock is secured to each other and you can disassemble it later and put it back together, win win for ya
Rods are cheap at Home Depot.
Here's a peak at mine if you don't mind:![]()
If you want to do it and your sand is still dry, a Bucket Head vacuum for a Home Depot bucket would make it easy to suck up your sand and put it right back![]()
Hopefully not hijacking here, but the driveway acrylic rods at Home Depot that you mentioned...what section of HD are those located? I'm going to break down my 240g soon (redoing flooring) and want to rescape it.
If you go on HD's web page, look up your store, search your item you're looking for, then just below your result they show you the Isle and Bin number of the item you're searching for!!
