So I bought this already established reef tank, it has been running for 2 years give or take.
The previous owner did a pretty bad job at picking out their rock and I can't do much with them with their current shape.

I want to rescape the tank, but was wondering if I could do so with my wet rock?
Is it possible to break the rock and scape it while wet?

Thank you!

I did this a few years ago. I saved some water change water in a brute with and air pump and powerhead. I was able to remove rock and keep it wet while I switched things around. I used a large plastic tote to drill and break rock. I ended up building PVC stands and creating 3 towers by drilling holes in the rocks and stacking them on the stands.

I just did mine and kept the rock really wet. Jut winged it really. I used super glue and IO putty/epoxy. You will need A LOT. So buy 10-15 packets of each. I ran out so my right side is just staked

I filled my tank about a 1/4 the way and started scaping. Every once in a while i scooped some water up with a cup and splashed the rocks. Was it the right way idk but the RFA at the top of my rock work is still alive.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I was wondering what product to use to glue the rocks together.

Do you have pictures of your setups?
