So tried to aquascape my tank again today...I personally think it looks worst than my original. Any help would be appreciated.

Great aquascaping!! I like it but I’ll have to take a look at the original.

What kind of corals are you planning to keep?

The very bottom one was the original. As far as coral not quite sure yet

How about making a bridge between the two?

Lol clearly I wasn’t looking  I think both are nice but I really like the second aquascape especially the structure to the left side. The right side looks a little too bulky which I think takes away the depth of the aquarium.

The reason I asked about the corals is because it’s helpfully to understand their growth patterns. But I wouldn’t stress about it but something to just keep in mind.

Also word of advice is don’t beat yourself up about it. Some of my best aquascapes only took a few minutes to do. At the end of the day it’s going to be overgrown in corals eventually :D

Try chipping the larger rock on the right. You can use a hammer and a pick or even flat head screwdriver..try to Google some aquascaping rock to get an idea of what you want it to shape like.

thinking of keeping the formation on the right I really like that part but go no clue for the rest of it

Starting with the rock on the very left bottom, then the reddish rock next to it. Get rid the top rock lol

I like the second one. I would get rid of that small rock in the middle. Keep one nice open space in between

I like the last scape picture LOL
TBH, if you listen to us about scaping your tank then most of the time you not going anywhere, 10 peoples = 10 different ideas = 10 different point of view = MORE confuse for you :)
Best is place those rocks in your tank then let it sit for few days or weeks and you keep looking at it then you pretty much knew what to do and fix it to your best looking and happy with it.

I think what is being shown is the first, second, and third photos are the same arrangement, and the fourth photo is the old one. Personally I like the new arrangement better with the two formations. I don't think the four rocks in the middle that go large to small are necessary. I would do just the larger two. Then I would scoot the right formation over to the left a little so you don't have both formations in the corners. The right one will have more space all around it. Then I would look at the heights and think about what corals will go on them. Maybe the right one also gets a bit shorter. See what happens if you take the top rock off the right formation and use it to prop the left formation instead of the four smaller rocks.

Tank dimensions are 36Lx16Hx12d

Make sure you use some putty or something to hold that together. Those are some big rocks and I would hate to see one hit your tank hard. Make sure you have plenty of caves as well

I like the very first picture but would remove the row of rocks in the middle, going from large to small. That part looks unnatural. I would take those and pile them up around the base of the island on the left.

Round 3! I like it better n the wife approves lol

nice. Make sure you have a couple inches at least around edges for cleaning.

yep ^. My only concern would be how close the rocks are to the edges. make sure you can at least fit a flipper between the rocks and the glass. Made that mistake myself and now its too late. really annoying to have that one very visible spot on the side that is constantly covered in grime and coraline
