Maybe move the rocks closer and stack some on top of each other ? Look on google for some ideas that's what I did

Generally I have the same problem but when I look at your tank my eyes would like to see the left and middle islands connected as a bridge and built up a little higher. Leave the right one alone. See what that does for you.

I've done a bridge didn't like it as the tank looked small after that u just trying to work with what uv got thank you all for the tips guys

I say for some more rock and just make it stable and how you like it. I have finally got mine to how I like it after 7 months of fiddling

I agree more rocks stacked higher
Also imo I like to have it low in the middle and high on the sides this is an exemple of my tank

Very impressive I like high low high idea I may attempt this tomorrow but with more live rock. Ur lighting is awesome how much did that cost u

That's about 110 gallons. Just eyeballing it, it looks like you have 50 pounds of rock in there at best. You're going to need at least twice that much to come up with anything interesting in the way of an aquascape. As far fish go, I believe they take up what is called negative space. I don't think they are considered part of the aquascape itself.

My lights r the eBay led black box I paid I think 167 for the pair then went to home depot and bough some shelve hangers so I didn't have to mout the lights from the ceiling

Imo the more irregular shaped the rock the better...instead of just a round rock.

looks like you need more rock to play with as others have stated.

One of the most important things about aquascaping is to avoid uniformity. Nature is not done in even numbers. If you have two islands don't divide the tank up evenly. Don't have several features the same height. Avoid the rock wall look. If you have room place a part of the rock work at a different distance from the front of the tank to add more perceived depth. 55g tanks can be hard to aquascape due to the shallow front to back dimension but many have come up with good looking displays. I'd start off tall at one corner, tapering down to just past the middle, ending up with a taller bit of rock work and stopping before the other end of the tank. And you're going to need quite a bit more rock. A couple of photosynthetic gorgonians can be used to fill in open areas while moving in the current.
