Since my tank will be fallow for about 2 months i did some reaquascaping and probably will be adding some corals in the near future. does this look good? and other ideas?

When I aquascape, I always like to think about the negative space as well as the rule of thirds. However, you should aquascape to what you want, since you are the one looking at it day after day.

thats fine.. i mean im looking or opinions so everything is appreciated. can you elaborate? what would you change?

Instead of using the "wall of rock" approach, I might try to move the rocks into "islands", maybe one large island on the right and a smaller one on the left, with some sand space between the islands. Make the larger one a bit taller as well as a larger footprint.

Hardest part for me is remembering to plan for the corals that'll eventually go on there. Making the rock look really cool is fun, but then my proportions get all out of whack when I move the coral in.

if i had a way to attach them together better i would have done that.. but they are just placed

Keep in mind that corals grow; you can expect everything to be at least six inches taller once it grows out so you may want to make your aquascape six inches shorter to accommodate the grow out (arbitrary number but you get the idea). I also like to separate the structures with lots of sand visible to give the illusion of more space. There is an aquascaping thread on the forums that has some beautiful examples to peruse.

Dragging the structures out at angles can also help make a narrow tank look wider.

i like the look of the sand! does the coral beauty leave everything alone for the most part?

It's never messed with anything that I'm aware of. That section in the middle was left open specifically for a clam but I've been to chicken to place one there because of the angel.

Nice, you posted pretty much exactly what I would have written. Nothing to add ......
