I absolutely hate Aquascaping!!! IT SUCKS!!!! Or at least I suck at it. I didn't like what I had before so I took out 2 big pieces of rock to start with and added I think 3 or so smaller rocks. Now it doesn't even look close to good!!!! The one thing I absolutely hate is aquascaping!!!

As of now it is yes!!!! Its just not working out the way I want it too. Either that or I have too much coral in there which I don't think is possible!!! Not yet anyways. Its just not going the way I envisioned. The wifey needs to get home and direct me on it!! She seems better at it!

I bet I won't have a problem with the 240 because of the size of it! :P LOL

The tank just doesn't "Flow" the way I want it too. I don't know If I am using too much rock or what because of the foam on the back wall. Or if its the Tonga Branches that come out from the overflow??? Just can't get it right so its urking the HEck out of me. I just left it and now it looks even worse!!!!

I hate aquascaping!!!! I'm going to be doing it again shortly since I'm swapping out my tank.

I just aquascaped my new nano on Friday and used 45 lbs LR (the suggested amount) in a 29 gal. cube. Still not really happy with it, but you can only do so much with a size 6 shoe box holding size 10 shoes!

Well here is the new look. I think I like it. Took all the coral out of the tank and all of the rock and started with all new rock from one of my tanks downstairs. Everything is a little unhappy as of now. Time will tell if I like this. On to the Pictures:

I took the Sebae Out because it was so Huge and Added this Green Bubble Tip Today. The Maroons are happy with it already:

My take on it is, even if it takes a whole day to do right, thats nothing compared to the hundreds of hours you spend looking at it.

But I too hate doing it, it never seems to look the way I picture it

I had the wifey poo direct me on where to place things. She sat back and said turn it nope, yep, nope, push it this way, nope....yup yup yup..... Then I would stand back and look and go oh yeah I like that!!! So all in all I think I am happy with how it turned out. Like I said a day or two when things settle down I will know for sure. If its the way I like it I will be epoxying things down!

Thanks. I have a bunch of Zoas I am going to remount onto plugs and strategically place them now too. Probably about another 10 or 12 frags to move around of zoas and place across the back by the Tonga and Overflow! I think it may grow on me!

I am another one for HATING the aquascaping part of it. I wish you could magically just have it go the way you want it on the 1st try - not 4-5 hours later :p

Not a big fan of the rockwall, but hey - otherwise, it looks good.

I also hate aquascaping. But I definitely agree that you need an eye reviewing the work from a distance - it's impossible to get right while staring <12" from the tank over the top. :(

I like that plate - and that maze - and the torch - and the...... LOL!

And I hate aquascaping too. Fortunately (or unfortunately?) I probably won't have to do it again for quite a while.
