Bull reef supply’s extra thick superglue is what I used to build mine. Are you planning on starting with dry rock?

Regular gorilla glue on the area you want. Make a wad of jb water weld epoxy, coat it in baking soda. Press it onto the superglue. Put regular super glue on the other rock you want to attach and press it onto the powdered water weld epoxy.

Any super glue the oozes out when you press things together gets dusted with baking soda also.

Instant bond. Once the epoxy sets it's nearly permanent.

If you are using dry rock like Marco thin super glue and the powder that you get when messing with Marco rock. You can buy it in containers or "make" your own or use baking soda/soda ash. The combination creates a chemical "weld" that is actually stronger then the rock itself. I use gluemasters thin. Put 2 pieces of rock together how you want it put down some powder on the joint and squirt super glue on the powder wait about 30 seconds. Add more powder and glue until it looks like the seam is filled. If there are large gaps use small pieces of rock to fill, same method. I made a test "ring" with some old Marco I had in a tote from forever ago. Super strong actually broke the rock before any of the welds. It's been in some of my water change water for a couple months now I pick it up and shake it every once in a while to see if it's degrading at all, so far so good.

For wet rock or dried wet rock I've not found anything to be permanent, but epoxy and super glue gel work the best. If you wire wheel or brush the seams it holds better.

Also has a spray Activator/Hardener that works extremely well, I used it on my Aquascape and I keep using it to glue frags. And is TONS cheaper than Gorilla Glue, gg .88 oz = $8, BSI 1oz = $5.99 or 8oz for $30 <-- best value.

If you look close you will notice I joined a couple pieces of Foundation together. I used a Masonry Blade on an Angle Grinder to surface the areas I was joining making them flat to give more surface area for the glue to bond. I was building really large scape though, tank inside is 94inches by 22inches. top 2 pictures of the same pieces, top and bottom. 3rd pic of the end result.

Watch BRS aquascaping video, use the thick superglue to join the rocks then dust it with baking soda to rapidly set it so you can build structures in fairly fast time.
