Aquatic for Life T-5 LED Hybrid Question:

I have a 72" x 24 x 24" tank. I want the Aquatic for life t-5 led combo.

Would (2) 36" fixtures spanning the whole tank be better than (1 ) 60 " fixture?

The cons to the 36" is Double the bulbs, which means more expense when time to change. And double the power outlets required.

The only con I can think of on the 60" is that it may not cover the whole tank.

(2) 36" fixtures cost the same as (1) 60" so price isn't an issue?

What do you master reefers think?

Tough call. The 60" is only a 6" falloff on either side but enough to drive some nuts. My last 72" tank ran 36" T5s with three MH and it was pretty spectacular from a lighting perspective. If I went that big again, I would do the same with LEDs replacing the MH.
