Aquatic life and ap700 how to mount

Trying to mount my ap700 to my aquatic life trying to figure out the best way to I bought a washer and then a screw to try to secure it but I'm worried that it might allow water and salt from evaporation in.

Any help would b appreciated.

I have also reached out to aquatic life and kessil havent gotten a response yet

Got a respond from aquatics life they recommend a bolt with lockit sealant still have not heard back from kessil have a phone call and an email with them in

I used the straight brackets that AL included with it. I bought slightly longer screws from Lowes that matched the oem provided screws.

Yes I got the screws but was worried about evaporation or salt getting in but looked down the holes and seem to b just metal down there and wouldn't damage the lights so probably going to go with that route.

I think you’re good honestly. mine has been up since right after they started shipping the 60” version, no issues yet. It has plenty of exposure, the tank is in wall with the fish room behind it hosting DT and 4 (about to be 5) frag tanks and the two sumps.

Thanks good to hear just mounted them over the tank and had them at 100 percent blue and the fan is really loud is that normal

Seems I over tightened the screws and was hitting the top

Still gotta fix the cords and get more frag racks but loving this setup

Ap700 t5s was my favorite setup as well! I used stainless steel screws from the hardware store to mount to the aquatic life brackets. Worked out pretty well

Awesome I went with the same route was a very simple install cant wait to grow some corals with this set up
