Aquatic Life Floating Suspension System Too Short

I'm lighting a new Red Sea Reefer 3XL 79" x 25.6" x 25.6". I decided to go with Two (x2) Aquatic Life DX18 36" Fixtures and 4 XR30 G5s. I just installed the first fixture and find that the front edge of the fixture is 6+" from the front of the aquarium, much too short. I do not want to hang these from the ceiling. Has anyone else had this problem and/or does anyone know a solution?

Just out of curiosity, how far off the surface did you mount your lights?

There completely adjustable for height but right now I have them at the BRS recommended 10”.

The extensions for the light mount as mentioned above would be the easiest way to go. However, if you want to make your own you could us conduit. It's quite easy. This is how I hung my Aqualife fixture.
