So after a bit of having this in use after recieving it from the contest gotta say overall pretty happy with it. First thing is its purpose to increase pressure for the RODI unit (specifics to come) but i say definately does this. RODI output has dramaticly increased, i havnt timed it but RO resivoir fill time is atleast 1/3rd of what it was.
AS for the details, i cant say for sure what the pressure is as if my guage is on the line between pump and membrane it pulses so hard it bounces off the max pin. As for claims ive read about waste water ratios i do not monitor mine but i would speculate its misleading based on increased production. I would assume waste to production ratio is improved but once that peaks waste has no choice but to increase at that point when you increase production amounts.
Only other things are it can over power my float valve a smidge in my resivoir, once full i notice the pump runns briefly every so often if i do not close the output line valve. Also for maintenance parts of the system do not depressurize with input water off, output open, and pump unplugged so i plumbed in extra tees and valves to release the pressure on those lines. So bit of a jungle with lines all said and done but end all opinion i had been debating a pump for a while before the contest and so far im quite happy with this pumps performance and not needing to worry about remembering my flush valve is a nice add.
