Aquatic Life T5 Hybrid Mounts...Cheaper version??

So I finally decided to go with the t5 hybrid (never used t5s but have heard great things) on my new tank in the next month. I have a wood stand and would like to mount the unit to the stand. I know they have the universal mounts but they run $140 for the pair. Anyone like to share their ideas on cheaper homemade ones. Seems pretty simple to build just curious what other people have done.

I havent done it but always like the look of simple electrical conduits used as a mount. Random pics pulled off google but you could go a number of different ways.
