Right now I currently have a aquatic life t5 with 6 bulbs on my tank. I want To add supplemental led lights on the tank for that extra pop of color. I don’t know how to add it as the lights are resting on my frame with the legs 6 inches above the water. How can I add it to the tank. It’s a 90g tank and 4 feet wide.

hi,48"1"wide aquatic life or reef brite stunner strips :)

can you zip tie/screw to edges of existing light?

they are great lights, norm only thing goes bad is control board ,and is cheap and easy fix ,goggle check it out :)

I agree. The ballast too. But other than that I would like more par as my rock work is about 6-7 inches below the waterline. More par can’t hurt either as my acros have lost some color without the par

how often are you changing t5's,keeping shield clean correct?

Once a week with the shield. The lights 1 year. The issue is the lights fed thru the wall and on the same system as my frag tank! Its really right against the wall too I know it may not seem like a pain but it is. Just trying to see if a simple solution to this

not fully understanding? can you post pic of tank and frag system?

I do love them but think I need that little extra pop from the corals. I don’t have a par meter, but hear 380-450 for some corals. I have my corals about half the way up on my rock work and tons of flow on the tank. Some like it some don’t.

Here the frag tank and my bedroom tank. They are both on the same sump.

have you considered a couple of 165 watt viperspectras ,i have used, lots of threads here on them ,very strong good lights, not too much$$,most are running whites 10-20% blues 30-50% ,then if you upgrade to a 6' er you would just need another one ;) think they run about 130.oo$$

If I were to move to led it would be a hybrid. And I would spend the money and do it right with radion g5 on all the tanks(it will happen but right now I cannot) For right now I want to see if I could add something to my current lights.

that takes us back to the stunner strips, not sure on price ,but surely going to be 100$ ea :(
