I wouldn't recommend it for several reasons, first of which is it does not use standard 10" readily available filters. You are stuck with one vendor for replacements. The filters don't appear to come in reefers preferred 1 micron or smaller versions is another. The housings are white and not clear so you can't visibly see them is yet another, they say they use color changing resin but how do you see it?
They had a couple other versions of the screw in filters over the last few years and they have been discontinued already, that tells me something right there. Get something that uses standard filters so you don't limit yourself.
