Aquatop 24gal Display

I’m pretty sure the gha takeover is ending, and that most will be gone after a good manual removal
Quick edit: my copepod population has grown very fast. Going good

Update:
So today I went coral shopping. Picked up a $10 torch, and an octospawn, and 4 more turbo snails. Although my glass cover for the aquarium got broken, due to someone accidentally stepping on it. Good news is I found a place near me that will make a new one.

So, everything has been doing well, gha is back, but there is very little and the snails are taking care of it. Sadly the torch coral died, most likely puffer bothered it. Corals are thriving. My red flowerpot now has bubble algae again, quick fix though. I’m trying to get rid of two aiptasia in back, hopefully 2nd round will do it. I got my salinity down to 1.026 from 1.027 (was goal of mine to do that). I moved hammer since anemone was eventually going to sting. Not sure where to move it, suggestions? Fish are happy and healthy. Picture:

Update: out of nowhere my frogspawn started dying (I’m guessing bacterial infection), now all heads are gone but 3, 1 has been happy throughout the other ones dying, the other 2 are on the way out. I might try and salvage that last Happy one. Also I’m currently researching for my next test kit, and also I’m going to purchase some coral glue, and some coral dip and other medications to prepare for anything that comes my way. Finally, about a week ago I discovered a fire worm in my tank, went to set a trap, didn’t work, then went in the next night with a net, now there were two, I got the smaller one but the larger one I haven’t seen since. Hopefully I’ll get him soon.

Glad you like your tank I have the 40 gal version about to finish cycling hopefully I can move all my live stock over from my 20 gal next weekend. I am also worried about the skimmer will keep an eye on it once I start it up. I will be using my prime HD for the time being maby upgrade to the hydra 26 one day. Here’s a picture of mine.

Very nice. I currently use the aquatop biocube skimmer, great one for the price

Before I got this I was looking at the aquamaxx nf1 May still get it if I don’t like this one. I do plan on a some what heavy bio load for this tank

Currently staying up late..decided to go downstairs to watch tank and I saw a bunch of my snails in one area, guess someone called a group meeting lol.

Finally, my frogspawn has completely died, although tomorrow I’m going back to the same store I got it from and seeing if they have any more. I also ordered a battery backup pump since I needed one and it was on sale. Now I’m starting to plan my next order from online for the fish tank, I’m thinking It’ll consist of: coral dip, fish/coral medication, coral glue, Red Sea test kit. Update on worm, I got the smaller one, haven’t seen larger one since. Thanks for reading!

So today I went coral shopping! A 8 headed frogspawn hammer mix (yay, the shop still had some like it). And my only sps coral in the tank, a birds nest

Hope the new corals are happy in the tank! Wanted to ask how your experience with the BTA in the nano has been? Considering adding one once the tank is stable.

How big was your tank? Mine is doing good, only concern was when it started to move (had to relocate some corals before anemone stung them). It found its spot now

Figured I’d do another quick update. So first off my birdnesf was doing great on the rock, I thought it was secure in. But a few days later in the morning I saw it fell into octospawn (blenny most likely pushed it over). Most of the bird nests died, but the section not stung is still doing great. Although when this happened one tiny tentacles of octospawn fell off and touched my bounce mushroom, which I think stung it. All is good now, just recovery time. Octospawn is still good

I'm in the initial stages of a 15 gallon cube, about 15 inches. Glad it found a spot and stayed put!

My only two concerns would be, that if it starts to move and you fill the tank up with other corals, and my bta has grown considerably.
