Aquatop Eco 40 gallon

I just got a used IM Nuvo 38 (curved glass) but am very nervous about the cracking I've read about.

My LFS is selling a tank stand combo for $500 of the Aquatop Eco 40. Is this a decent tank at an ok price?

Im looking for a 40ish gallon AIO. I like the Nuvo 40 buts about $700 with stand. Should I spend the extra $200?

I also have a good offer on a Nuvo 30L. I would just need to go with two lighting fixtures instead. They are only asking for $150 with stand and lid. I might go that direction with 2 AI Primes.

Any advice or insight would be very helpful. I feel very indecisive.

I had the IM40 and loved it. Bought it used and was in very good condition.
I like the clarity of the glass of the IM.
All depends, I like the depth of a cube and does not take much of a space in my case. 30L like you mentioned, two lights are needed but for the price of $150 w/stand that is a good deal!
The only drawback for me on the 30L is the depth , then again it is all about preference.

We are buying our first house and I have been getting very nervous about the cracking on the Nuvo 38. Last thing I want is 30+ gallons of water on the floor. I might just take the loss on the 38 and try to resell it for what I can.
