I don't know many details yet, just got a text from a friend that's metro & he says it's pretty bad... Waiting on pics & more info..

Luckily it wasn't the Critter but the hole in the wall Gyro restaurant next door. Only smoke got into AC and supposedly they were able to clear it out.

Jason, did you ever get any pics or anything?

I hope she comes back... That place was awesome and she was really nice, too.

Also, FWIW, I think the Critter is OK overall. Jay is onsite. Hopefully he will have more details for us.

From talking to Jay last night it sounds like the Gyro place caught fire, still unsure why, and AC took some smoke damage.

I called Chris Beggin and Chris Richards today to see if they needed any help. They said there is lots of smoke damage (almost impossible to breath without a mask in there). Hoping to get the store going this Wednesday, might be a little optimistic. They could all use our thoughts and prayers for the next few weeks/days. Livestock all survived but they are moving lots of the salt water to the other end of the store, gonna be a long couple of weeks. JMO but the reef club should put together something to help with all the support they have given us. I tried to join MTRC again at the swap but couldn't and tried online as well and haven't had much luck with that either, probably something I'm missing. God bless, Chris

I agree 100% with the club needing to find a way to help the Critter "rebuild," and the current BOD and members of the past BOD are in discussions trying to come up with ideas. But with this most likely becoming more of an insurance situation on the Critter's behalf there may not be much we could do.

We are also looking into the problems you're having rejoining the club.

I sent you a PM, Chris. We have you down as a member. :)

We are looking into helping the Critter, but I don't believe there's much that we can do. We are definitely asking, though.
