Just installed a 15W aquaUV - looks to be running well, no leaks.
I here a sound of water coming from inside the tube - does anyone now if thats normal? is the unit supposed to run silent?

I cant detect any issues - the UV lamp is working, I have good flow.
When I turn my DC pump, thats feeding the UV, down the sound goes away - but I prefer to keep a higher flow for now to treat some algae issue.

Thx

They are best installed horizontally with the inlet and outlet pointing up...or if mounting vertically, have the inflow on the bottom and outflow on the top. You don't want air in there.

i don't have mine on right now, but i seem to recall a little sound of water as well possibly.

are your inlet/outlet ports pointing up?
Down. The sleeve comes pre-installed but I wonder if yours is installed properly? Have you call Aqua UV.
I had a question for them , called and the answered it. I asked if the unit can be mounted vertically with the sealed end under water, They said no.
