AquaVitro Fuel opinions

I heard from another post here it is basically the exact same thing as Reef Energy AB+ with some ingredients higher in amount. And possibly added chlorella?

Nice. I cant speak to that as i dont use ab+.

I have been using AV fuel for quite some time though. The dosage is a very small amount so I believe the claims.
I was recommended it by a local hobbyist claiming it saved some of his zoas and makes his tank look fantastic. I was just unsure its value especially seeing I am already using Reef Energy AB. I have heard many good testimonies though.

So I started my reefing journey using Fuel, way back when I had a tiny amount of coral. Everything was good. I switched to Reef Energy just to try it, had no issues and I like it as well. However, zoas grew better with fuel.

Turns out after looking into it more, Fuel has iodine in it. I did an ICP test in January and was low on iodine which from what I've heard is very important but more so for zoas. So I'm now back to Fuel.

Is aquavitro fuel a decent replacement for Reef Energy AB+ ? Ive heard success stories from the trace elements it provides
I purchased a bottle of fuel and had it in the refrigerator for the last 2 months (unopened).
I had been doing kalkwasser, iodine, iron potassium, and magnesium. My zoanthids were open and looked good. I added Fuel for the first time a few days ago, and all my zoanthids blossomed wider than ever before. This product is amazing!

How has that been going? Mixed tank? Are you dosing anything else?
Well if you search up my history at all you can see I have been posting a lot about a mysterious problem with my Zoas that started 2-3 months ago. My tests were coming back normal so I thought it could potentially be something to do with a micronutrient being lacking. I started dosing All for Reef for a month, and got an ICP test. The levels of every known parameter are near perfect. I am slightly low in some elements I have never heard of before.

Visually the tank looks nice, and it seems the Zoas are recovering. But they are taking their sweet time, and some morphs still are not doing that well. Maybe it could just be a mysterious disease going through them. I am unsure but hoping time will tell, or fix things.

Did anything change when you went back to fuel?

Would Fuel + All for reef make a good combo seeing Fuel is mainly micronutrients while All for Reef is mainly Kalk?

Kalk? There's no kalkwasser in AFR.

I'll let you know, mailing in another ATI ICP this week I think.

I didn't mean chemically. I meant observationally. Specifically, whether dosing iodine was apparently useful or not.

ICP from ATI came back quite good. I was slightly low a few random nutrients I have never heard of - Kalium, Molybdän, Vanadium, Zink, Mangan. Was also a bit high on calcium - 518mgl. Everything else solid. Only been using all for reef + water changes.

potassium
molybdenum
vanadium
zinc
manganese

All of those are important and used by organisms, although it is often not clear from ICP whether dosing will be beneficial
