Tossing the idea of dosing a supplement like fuel or acro power, are they woth it ? Anyone have positive results? My tank is lightly stocked 10 small fish mostly wrasses and clowns in a 150 gal tank. Irun a skimmer and gfo. Po4 is at .06, nitrate is at 2 , cal is 450 ,mag 1440 , alk at 7. I'm raising my alk as we speak. Has anyone seen consistent result with additives ? Can you share pic ?

I’ve used fuel, didn’t really like it. Acropower I use but don’t really see a difference. The one that actually surprises me and actually makes a huge difference, especially with lps and zoas, is Red Sea reef energy a&b. I’ve been dosing it daily at lights out and my lps have their feeder tentacles out all day which helps them catch food when I feed the fish. I don’t know if it’s them being able to catch the food easier or the product specifically but since using it, I am getting brighter and fluffier Lps, vivid zoas, and a happier looking reef ecosystem in general.

I’ve been using Fuel for years. It really helps out your softies...zoas, shrooms, they grow and multiply faster. I notice that when I go weeks without it, softies don’t grow as fast. For example, the bounce mushroom was smaller than a dime two months ago, it’s the size of a 50 cent coin now. I dose it twice a week.

I currently use relatively small doses of Fuel, seems to help some but this is very subjective.
I've used Reef Energy before as well, also seems to help some.
Keep in mind though that any product that contains amino acids can also encourage unwanted algae growth.

I recently went from adding just a few drops per day to my 29 gallon to adding 1/2 ml. I am blown away by how well my corals responded..
