Anyone using this? I use acropower currently but picked up a bottle of this to try out on the lfs's word. Anyone seen positive results?

I use it. But don't use anything to compare it with. Everything seems to like it. My lfs recommended it too.

From my perception, I've gotten better results from TLF's AcroPower.
I get amazing results with acropower as well someone also suggested to use both any thoughts on that? It seems risky since I have no idea whats actually in acropower

I used it briefly but for whatever reason my softies seemed irritated by it so I stopped using it. Both SPS and LPS responded positively though.

I have seen the lab analysis of fuel. It is made of metals and amino acids. I wouldn't put it in. Acropower on the other hand has been like SPS steroids in my tank.

Copper, iron, and zinc in the fuel I believe

There is, in fact a friend of mine works at a lab and has passed all kinds of reef additives through a analysis machine. All of the RS color program, KZ products , BRS additives, aquavitro fuel and salt mixes. The worst for traces of unwanted metals including copper are the products aimed at coral color and a few broadcast products such as fuel or trace element additives. After seeing those reports, I only add acropower, instant ocean and BRS 2-part. These are the least toxic IMO.

I've been using fuel for the past year with no issues. On my 3rd bottle now and dose it twice a week as directed.

Maybe randy can chime in but I think the metals copper zinc iron ect are supposed to be there in trace amounts? Mostly I was just wondering how it was in comparison to acropower. I think I would need concrete results before replacing my coral crack

It would not surprise me if they are intentionally added as they are essential trace elements for corals.

Whether any given tank needs them or not, however, may only be detemined by adding some and seeing if things look better. Even knowing values by Triton and similar methods is only partly useful since the raw number doesn't say what form it is in and hence its bioavailability.

My corals really responded positively when I started using Fuel. I swear by it. 210g system, manually dosing 60mL every third day.

fuel contains trace amounts of certain minerals (iron, copper, zinc, etc.), as they are necessary for the health and growth of corals, like Randy mentioned above. Many people immediately get a negative perspective when it comes to using copper in aquariums due to the fact that it is often used as a medicated treatment. However, copper is essential to biological functioning of organisms and is a necessary trace component. They are in such trace amounts, that they will get utilized almost immediately. We would never include harmful elements in our products and as a matter of fact, we go to great lengths to ensure the highest quality products available. Instead of having two supplements that are required for food and trace supplementation, we have distilled it into one product and it has become one of the best sellers in our range. Unfortunately, I cannot give a side by side comparison with AcroPower, as I could not find any information about the ingredients. We are very transparent in what is contained in fuel. You can see the total list of ingredients on the aquavitro website. From personal experience, as well as, testimonials from customers, fuel does wonders on their corals. Within days of using fuel, you can see an increase in coloration and polyp extension is very notable. If you haven't tried fuel, I think it is absolutely worth the money to give it a shot. I don't think you will be disappointed. :)
i figured the metals were nothing to worry about and its nice to hear it direct from the source as we both said there's really no way of knowing exactly what's in acropower we just know it works. I'm gonna give fuel a shot and see what's what i definitely trust seachem products so thanks for the input everyone :)
