I recently set up my 210g tank. I bought the overflow plumbing kit for the tank. The problem I'm havering is the water sound falling into the overflows. It seems like the water in the overflows is a few inches down so the water entering them is falling Dow and making a splashing noise. I'm not sure how to adjust this. Any info would be great. Thank you

Try reducing your flow back to the tank. You could also increase the height of the standpipe (reduce the drop into the weir).

I have the stand pipe all the way up right now I will try to reduce the flow tonight. I do have valves on every line

It's not a gurgle sound that's the problem. That part is quiet. It's the water entering the over flows. Where it falls into the overflow before it enters the plumbing it like the water in the overflow is too far down so the water entering has to fall and makes the splashing noise. I hope this makes sense

Yea, I get what your saying, but its that loud? I use an overflow, and yea I hear the lil water fall, but i'v egot a lid on mine and it takes the sound down quite a bit. That make sense?

Yeah it's pretty loud. I don't have a lid on mine at all. When the tv isn't on it's kinda annoying.
