I just bought what I believe to be a 90 gallon aqueon megaflow tank. It seems like both holes in the overflow are 1.75 inches. Could someone confirm this? Wouldn't that be 2 3/4 inch bulkheads? It looks like the plumbing was a 1/2 inch return and a 3/4 inch drain.

It will fit standard 1" bulkheads. If you buy the Aqueon megaflow plumbing it will come bulkheads that fit, but one will be a universal 1/2" for return.
If you avoid their plumbing kit you will have to adjust according.

My mistake right 1". Thinking of doing 2 drains and going over the back with the return.

I just put up the same tank. It came with the megaflow kit, but I didnt use it. I ended up making my own durso and it worked out better.
I had briefly considered going with a modified Herbie with only 2 drains and coming over the back with the return, but I really didnt want to see any plumbing.
