Aqueon pre drilled bulkhead question

I have one of those 'reef ready' 75g Aqueon tanks that's pre-drilled on the bottom. I currently just have some 1" tubing slipped over the barbed fitting on the drain hole but I would like to hard plumb my drain line. Does anyone know what hardware I would need to attach PVC pipes to the barbed fitting?

To clear any confusion, the bulkhead for my drain looks like this:

You cannot attach PVC to the barb itself, if you want it completely hard lined then youll need new bulkheads.

While walking around the plumbing section in Lowe's I discovered an adapter than is barbed on one side and threaded on the other. So from the barbed connection on my drain I have a small section of vinyl tubing then the adapter converting to thread at which point I connected the threaded PVC pipe.
