Aqueon ugh the stress begins

Loki got ya. What would you do would you take it down or leave it filled? My brothers a glazer also but he won’t be able to come til Monday
Well when did it happen? before or after it was filled? and how long has it been

I want to say before it was filled. The tank has been filled for 4-5 days
I would leave it then. Best to have a glazier look at too I’m happy for you that your brother can confirm or deny the glass’s integrity. He will likely look inside the glass for any signs of stress or cracking and in my opinion that is the nail in the coffin. Otherwise it’s a chip and not a crack

Ok great we’ll all I can do is hope for the best! Thanks for your help

An 1/8" or so may not be an issue to some but it would bother me. If the glass were not cut wrong I would think that water pressure on the silicone would not be a strong as siliconed glass due to possible flex. I go back and forth on this in my mind. Let us know what the manufacturer says. Very unimpressive that it could make it to shipment like that. Seems their quality control need a tweak or 100.
