Aquilles what does it has?

Hello My aquilles tang got ich bit now it has some white sports on his chest and his lower tail, os it still ich related or something else? Thankyou

I had something similar happen to my tomini tang recently. First it developed some white patches on its body, which seemed to be followed by a mild case of ich. It has been recovering, but the origin of both was definitely surprising. The tang has been in the tank since May without issue. Was wondering if it got stung by my fox face which stresses out its immune system?

With their dark bodies, Achilles show skin damage more than some other species. You may be seeing scars from where the ich trophonts were attached.
How long ago did the fish have ich?
Are you confident that the ich has been cured?
Any chance of getting better photos without the glare? Dimming the room lights will help.

Were you using the standard or an increased dosage? It saved about a third of my fish from velvet - but not 'patient zero' (which probably succumbed around the same time as yours). I ended up extending Medic to 17 days in total.

I first dosed 9 times for 10 days, for another fish I had, the aquilles was in quarantine by that time so a week later when quarantine period was over and he was @ display tank he started getting ich so I started to dose medic but 3 times since I had done the 9 times dosing just a week ago…

Achilles are really difficult to keep in a tank with any sort of disease. Sorry for your loss.
