I am new to this and need some urgent advice.
For the record, I have not purchased any fish yet.
I am interested in Tropical fish and purchased a Aquanano 40 on 30th Oct 2012. I filled it with tap water and added tap water treatment solution and current temperature reading is 27C.
Paid £55 for Natures Ocean Bio Active Live Aragonite Reef Sand (40lb 0.5-1.7mm) to keep a healthy pH/nitrate level.
Can I use the sand on my "tap water" tank, will the fish benefit? I do not want a salt water tank.
