Over the past few days my Archon would shut down randomly. All of the modules would be disconnected and the only thing visible would be the Archon. I would pull power to the head unit and take it off the bus, plug it back in and for a day it would power up and show all modules again. I pulled the drive and received an error message saying the drive needed repairs; I would have Windows repair it and all seemed well.
Friday the head unit was disconnected from the modules but this time the reset did not work. The drive still has errors and my tank is running only the skimmer and return pumps and my reactor pumps are running of a power bar. I sent in a help request to DA but will need to wait until Monday for their response.
I reset my internet connection (the Archon is hard wired to the router) but that didn't solve anything. I realized that the Archon outputs and inputs that reside on the module show up so the internet connection isn't the problem. If the drive is bad I did make a backup of the files. But if I replace the drive would I be copying the bad files onto it causing the same issue?
Let me know what you think.
