I just received my Archon and am setting up the basics before I tie it into my system. I am having trouble stabilizing the time clock. I set the time and check the box to sync and hit the save button. When I leave this page and come back the time changes. I noticed in the operating instructions I downloaded from DA's website that there is a time sync command. I assume there is something that needs to be filled in between the parenthesis but I don't know what it is. The command is SynchronizeTime(). Please advise what I need to do to get this problem resolved. So far this controller is a beast and I can't wait to get it up and running on my tank. Thanks for your help.

There is nothing to pass on that command. If it was say PortCalibrate(XX:XX,XX,XX,XX,XX) there would be parameters to pass. Since you are running .63 software your's programs differently than what I have with.62. Have you contacted Eric? Lindsey is also running .63 so he may be able to help.

Thanks Danny. Yes Eric said to enter the command line SynchronizeTime() with the time box checked and then hit refresh but that didn't work. I assume refresh means the reload page button on the web browser. I am using Firefox if that matters.

Yes, refresh means refresh the web page. Firefox is what I use with the exception of Safari on the iPad. Make sure you let Eric know it is not working. I am sure it is the UTC code not getting set for your location. I guess they automated that in .63. There may be a way to set in manually also. Since that is new software it may be different than in the version I have. Have you got a chance to play around with it any in the meantime?

I am programming now. The short version is the modules transferred to the Archon but Lindsey said I should have performed an interrupted update because some of the programming in the modules doesn't transfer or save

OK, the interrupted update will erase all programming on each PC4 including the port and module names. You may want to do one PC4 then hook it to the Archon and reenter you names. Then do the other PC4's one at a time. I don't know how important the names are for you.

Could that be the cause of the problems I have with the APC and the ALC?

No, I don't think PC4 programming will affect the ALC or APC. I don't have the APC module. There are two ports on the Archon with the same connectors as the APC that can be used instead of a APC module if need be. You do know you will have to program you Archon to use theses modules. Programming is not transferable. It is stored in the head unit and not the modules. The only exception is the default setting. This is what the module reverts to if communication with the head unit stops.
