Has anyone heard of and or have any of these light units. (Addictiveaquaculture.com).

I know they are off shore China made.... but the specs on the unit seems decent 120w...white, red, blues, uv, green, 36x24, spread.

YouTube video and reviews seem good.

I am starting another frag tank, Cuz I out grew my other 60g....so just looking for a good inexpensive display light on the selling tank.

I know the get what you pay for deal....but at $148... free shipping is kinda hard to beat.

I had one over my tank for about a year, I was very impressed with the fixture quality and price point. Although, I'm not sure it will cover a 36"x24" area, more like 24"x24".

Thanks for the response. .

I talked to the rep, and he said since my frag tank is 48x20x8". I should be fine at 15 to 20" high off water and it should cover..as my par level as not crucial being a 8" deep tank.

I see and therefore I would agree. 8" water depth would allow you to place the fixture higher, giving a larger spread.

I recently got the arctic S026 and am very happy with it so far. It's the same as the T247 but with fewer features.

I was wondering about those too, what is the difference?

The T247 has built in electric dimmers as opposed to manual dials and it also has a remote so you can sit back on the lounge and change the settings. I'm not sure of any other differences though, in sure there's more :) the price difference is fairly low, like $30 or something.

Also, the 247 only has one power cord while other one has two.

Do you think the t247's or the Oceanrevive would be a better fit for a JBJ Nanocube 28gtank for a reef safe tank?

The T247 is OceanRevive :)
My S026 looked good on my 24 when I put it over the tank to check out the colour. You would need to dial it back quite a bit I would think though. From my very short time using this light I would say it would be a great fit!

Sounds good then T247 it is.. Lol Would I place it 12 inches above my tank? And any recommendations on the intensity for the Channel 1 and Channel 2 settings? Thanks for your help it will be my first time having an LED light setup on my tank so I'm stoked about that..

I can't really help with the settings or anything. This is my first led too lol.
I'm going to hang mine at 12" to start with and have both channels around 20-30% if that helps at all.

I have both of them. On the t247 i run blues at 65% and white at 35%. I have the blue turn on an hour or so before the whites and go off a couple hours or so after. You probably want to start at lower Precentage and work up if you don't have led now. I like these lights and my coral do well but, i ran across a real good deal on some ai and going with the extra control.

I might, I only have 1. It might be a week or so before I get my new ones. I can keep the other for a little frag set up I'm doing. I run it on a timer power strip so it operates the same as the 247 just manually set the dials instead. I'll check tomorrow and see how long it will take for the new lights to get here.

Does anyone know where I can find a mount instead of hanging it from the ceiling or a way to hang it from the wall? I'm talking about the Artic t247 on a JBJ 28g
