Definitely more blue is best (I prefer a 2:1 ratio of blues to whites), but you need to watch spectrums...it can get complicated when you get into "good" vs. "best" ...and "best" seems to still be mostly a matter of opinion. While some research suggests that red spectrum is good for some coral growth, most agree that red is also associated with plant growth and plant growth in a reef tank is bad typically because it means algae growth. I'd steer clear of a fixture with mostly red LEDs. There are some pretty decent inexpensive fixtures available that are made for coral growth.
