Are all soft corals fish safe?

Or are there any commonly available species that can eat or otherwise harm fish? I am planning to add the rainbowfish Pseudomugil cyanodorsalis to my 10 gallon, and in view of its tiny size (it's no larger than a neon tetra, maybe smaller) I don't want any corals that would pose a threat to fishes in my tank. Thanks!

All corals are fish safe (unless there is some really odd one out I haven't heard of). There are some large anemones that pose a risk but you wouldn't put those in that sized tank.

I have heard (on this forum, no less) of certain common LPS corals eating small fishes, so I just wanted to be sure.

Maybe a large elegance coral could but I've never heard of nor seen any coral kill and eat a fish.

I was going through an older build thread here on R2R, and found this picture... And it got me thinking...I've had corals eat crabs and snails before, but never had one feed on a fish yet. How about you guys? How crazy would this be!? RIP little bangaii cardinal. Photo by @Reefer831 What...

It happens. Not commonly, but in my eyes it seems more likely to happen to the Pseudomugils since they are not coral reef fish and would not be "streetwise", so to speak, with large corals. I just don't want to take any chances. (I wonder if it would have been more helpful to ask for a list of seahorse safe corals?)

I think most of those cases are probably fish that died with the exception of carpet anemones. Corals can barely hang onto fish food half the time. There is no way a coral (not anemone) can capture a healthy fish.

As for seahorses, you want to stick with soft corals and gorgonians. due to flow and a lack of singing tentacles.
