If so what are members here using to cover their rimless open top tanks? Looking for something other then the clear plastic looking screens that people use. Thx for any help

All fish can jump. All tanks require (IMO) a lid. Our fish depend on us for their lives, we owe them as safe as environment as possible.

The clear mesh or cicada netting is what I use. There are companies that make a nice a acrylic frame for the mesh.

I dont like hard lids, leads to injured fish

Plywood? :P

What's wrong with the mesh tops? Maybe link what you're referring to as well? Understanding what you don't like might get a better recommendation out of me. ;)

i have a frame do you have any links to what you use or pics of what yours look like?

I had a female jump out of the small opening for my auto feeder about 4 or 5 years ago in one of my tanks. Luckily I was home to hear it flopping on the glass top

my tank has been rimless the last yr and a half thankfully no jumpers

Yes they are found this out this am the hard way. My issue with covers is that they take away some light for my corals. I put on a partial egg crate
