Are brittle stars tank safe??

i recently spotted my first hitchhiker in my tank. A brittle star, about the size of a half dollar. It has red and white bands on its arms. He’s mostly hiding in an acan rock, so I really can’t get any good pics. Just making sure that these starfish are ok in my tank.
 
Nope, they are terrible. You should sent it to me for disposal ASAP.

In spite of having 8 different colors/color combinations, we dont have one of those.
Sounds beautiful!

After a few decades they can possibly get huge.

The pretty green ones with yellow spikes on the edges of the arms should be avoided no matter what size they are.
The nickname is green death and they are known fish killers.

Everything else should be pretty safe and the one you have sounds perfect for at least another 10 years.

Would love to see even a partial picture when you get a chance
