Are BRS calculators accurate?

Just wondering your experience in using the calculators. Alkalinity seems to be about right for me. I’m not sure about calcium but it’s asking me to dose a lot. Might do half at first but we’ll see.

Never had issues using them for bout 4-5 years.

For two part you should be dosing the same amount of liquid if done properly.

Just to clarify for the OP,

For soda ash, it should be 1:1 ratio by ml with calcium (the routine daily dose to keep your tank stable)

For bicarbonate it is more like 2:1 ratio.

Yes their calculators are accurate.
