I really wanna get one but the ones I see that are tank raised just look so sick and almost very low yellow color ….was wondering if it’s worth my last fish spot ….miss those Hawaiian ones that yellow you could see from across the street literally :(

A few of the first captive bred ones are grown up now. The only difference is that their fins are rounder and longer, and the fish look more smooth. In the long term, over the period of about a year they will color up. Many people on this forum have expressed concern about their color. Feed them plenty of nori, keep them healthy and safe, and put them under good lighting, and they will outshine many wild caught yellows. My LFS has one in a nice mixed reef under a full light spectrum, and it looks like a tropical drink. I hope that this helps!
