It really sucks since they’re really pretty fish, but they might be one of those species whose wild instincts are so hard wired into them that CB doesn’t guarantee adjusting to prepared foods. The breeder in Thailand called Atoll Farm which also breeds S. Splendidus also reports that some of his CB Mandarins can be pellet trained while it doesn’t work for others, and that there’s variation within batches.
