Are Clove Polyps Easy to Control?

it depends on what "clove" you are talking about

I believe this is what I've got.

Does it come from a red skeleton? That looks like pipe organ coral.

Nope. definitely a softie. Here's another picture which shows the stems better. It looks like they grow and spread like a zoa or palys:

Oh gosh can't find the name for it. I have that also.
It shoots out with a stolon and up pops a new polyp.
Easy to control and sensitive to change

yea they do spread not like xenai though. Rainbow cloves sometimes I think. I have a both types pictured. Just plan for it. A rock you don't mind being covered or some flat rubble or shell next to the colony. Itll grow over them and then you can frag sell and trade.:)

Here are a couple of pictures of mine putting stolons down. Mine was infested with Clove eating Nudibranchs and it is slowly recovering, so believe it or not, it looks much better than it did.

I just picked up a few polyps of the same green/orange coloration, maybe ten or so - am getting ready to mount them. I think they're beautiful!

Clavularia....and that one is nicely colored!!
