I never intentionally introduced pods to my tank, but I was looking at my tank just now under my camera's flash light and there are definitely tiny little swimmers. They seemed attracted to the light of my phone. So the question is... are they tiger pods, and are pods attracted to light. They have a light reddish-pink hue, which made me thing it might be tiger pods.

They are ENTIRELY too small for me to get a good picture of them.

They generally dislike light and only come out at night. Copepods are generally tiny little red dots. Amphipods are their bigger cousins(for lack of a better word)

These are amphipods.

Tiny red dots is right, at least it's not something to worry about!

Thanks man!

Did you ever figure out what they were? I have something similar in a tank I swapped the sand in one of my saltwater tanks to Caribsea aragonite.
