Are Coralife Biocube LED bars Reef compatable

hey ive been looking at upgrading my lighting in my biocube 29 to the LED bars they sell for that tank. there is four slots available for LED bars.There is no information I could find on how powerful accept for its a 1.75 watt led. Any help is appriciated.

You will be ok using those LEDs, but may want higher wattage LEDs if you plan on SPS Corals. But 1.75w LEDs will get you quite a bit of light.
 
I emailed coralife and they said they are more for creating a shimmer effect. But i may try four bars and see if that produces enough light
 
ReefDog- how did the LED lights workout on your Biocube? I am doing the same (adding 3 cool white and 1 blue). How have your corals done? Thanks!
 
Cpsmith12 I never got any of the coralife bars, what I ended up doing,since I can't have coral in HI legally, was getting white led under cabinet lighting and it has worked fine.I use it in combo with the blue led bar that comes with the kit.
