Are crossflow and gyre parts interchangeable?

That would really be something... I knew it was a blatant rip off copy of the gyre, but interchangeable parts would put it into a whole new category of copy

People have been saying the parts look identical. In the another thread @Clayalaleona said she was going to compare the two. If she did she might have an answer.

I keep getting shut down on RC every time someone posts it and no one wants problems with Maxspect so it gets deleted. I'm not gonna post it anymore but it's kind of ridiculous that one can't even post an unbiased video about it without everyone crying.
I would think the company would want to see it so that people realize that their product is clearly superior but I'm not going to waste time, money or effort to be blacklisted from forums

That is ridiculous and starts a bad trend. What if vendors here want to sell the product, is R2R going to shut the FS thread down? Is R2R going to regulate what brands vendors can sell.
This is why I don't like ReefBuilders. They have no credibility. They act like a place for places to advertise then a unbiased review. They tried to do some smear campaign on Jebaos crossflow without ever testing the product.
Just because it was shut down on RC doesn't mean it will be shut down here?

I'm assuming it has to do w promoting sales of a questionable company and maxspect threatening to either sue or pull the sponsorship if there is one and as the saying goes .. Money talks and ..... jebao walks

Sue them for what? There is already case law that protects web servers from the content which is posted. Plus there is nothing illegal about the product being sold.
The sponsership pulling is a reasonable excuse. But it still sets a bad precedent and R2R should give into bullying.

No the parts arent interchangeable but they are similar. People are bringing up infringement when like reefpharmer said, all they can do is pull sponsership or sit back and watch. I just cant get it through my head about the hype thats going on with this.

I don't know about the lawsuit but if any other company felt their products were being ripped they would certainly toss their weight around to stop the sales of the "pretender". This goes for any company in any business. Rc or r2r aren't free to maintain and a sponsor pulling out doesn't help them stay afloat. Not sure if you expect anything different but money rules the world. If jebao wants better treatment, they can sponsor these sites and they will get better treatment
