Are dinoflagellates harmful to fish?

I just realized that the issue I'm having with my cuc is caused by dinoflagellates. I know they're harmful to invertebrates (into the QT goes the cuc and corals) but what about my fish? Is it harmful to them?

They can be. I would make sure to have some GAC in the system, replaced weekly, when fighting dinos.

Fun fact: Red tide is made up of dinoflagellates. Dinoflagellates can also host inside of certain fish and creatures to make bioluminescence. They are harmful to fish in general who are not meant to host them.

Hi thanks I did change my carbon but I think I'll pull them and put them in QT. they're are only 4 small fish in my 80 g so far.
