I'm looking for a wifi doser that also stores the current schedule locally on the device and will still maintain the current schedule in the event of a network issue. Can GHL do that?

Thank you

Original post edit: My original post stating that DOS did not store data locally and fell back to Off with a network failure which is not accurate. Neptune has clarified that while dosing schedules not stored locally on the DOS they are stored locally on the Apex and isolated from potential network issues (I.e. they will not turn off if internet or connection with Fusion is lost)

From my experience the answer is yes. The schedule is stored on the doser itself. I have the 2.1. And I can connect to it directy (usb) or pc (network) or my phone (the app, which is totally awesome). The schedule has never changed no matter what has happened, power or network failure.

Yes, all data is stored on the unit. We have a number of customers who do not use network with their units, as they are in commercial/industrial applications that are restricted from internet access. :)

Awesome! You have a new customer.

I know this thread is from a couple of months ago but I have a related question. (I think) I'm a new user of the Profilux and Doser 2.1. I have my dosing schedule set up on the doser. When I check GHL Connect using the Doser page the levels in the containers are updated but when I go to the P4 page they remain as I originally set them up. There is no reduction of levels day to day. Did I not set it up properly?

@mwilk19 - Once you connect your doser to the P4, you should be doing all the dosing and configuration through the P4. This includes the dosing schedule also.

Was this a master doser you installed or a slave doser?

If it was a master doser change or to a slave and then config then assign the doser heads in the pab configuration and then set up the dosing containers and dosing schedule inside the P4.

Hope this answers your question :)

Ditto, It's a Stand Alone doser. I have it set up in the doser pages. Am I better off to connect it to the P4 and set it up that way? I'm contemplating adding a KH Director. Is that going to lay into how I set this up?

If you want to monitor and control the dosing inside the P4 then yes.

But if you do not mind logging into it and checking it that way it will work also :)

If your going to get the KH director it will work as stand alone with the master doser without any issues.

But, I would connect the master to the P4 and control it all from within the P4. It allows you to see everything in one shot on the dashboard.

@mwilk19 - Glad to help, and welcome to the GHL club. Trust me it costing me also hehe!!!
